We, down signed citizens, show with this disagreement with building of a shopping centre Arena Pilsen on the place of house of culture and next areas towards the railway station. Including this aim is also a building of a car park of a bigger number of parking spaces, which can in final reasult means a big increase of traffic and pollution in given area, including an increase of noise problem and lower quality of living enviroment.

We think, that building of a such important area within wider city centre of Pilsen should be prevented by a discussion not either technical public but especially analysis of that, what citizens and municipal government expect from the house-building of this place.

We require particular authorities of the city Pilsen, especially the leaders of town part Pilsen 3 and the town, organ of conception and developping of the city to initiate a public discussion with a presence of respected and independent experts. According their results there will be binding (obligatory) a regulatory plan for given area. We also ask all responsible authorities not to do any important changes in this area before finalizing this regulatory plan.
